The second version of the designer editor mode is now available. Lots of new helpful features with a completely new spawn visualization!

RELEASE NOTES

  • Spawn visualizer material more clearly visible but less intrusive.
    • Added scale radius visualization.
    • Added cursor axis visualization.
    • Added mouse cursor world position visualization.
    • It will work correctly with shader model 2.
  • Shows little sphere on the location where the asset will be spawned.
  • Randomize rotation offset using a min and max float value. This is an offset added to the final rotation so the "Axis to Align with Cursor" option can be used in combination with this new feature.
  • Randomize scale using a min and max float value. Additional bool for randomly negating the outcome. It will use a ratio when scaling using the cursor.
  • Added "Scale Bounds Towards Cursor" setting. Disabling this will make sure the asset is not scale by moving the cursor anymore. This can be useful for placing assets which have a correct predefined scale i.e. interior items.
  • Right mouse button randomizes all values again while spawning.
  • Fixed actor selection an deselection related bugs.
  • Spawn asset code has been moved to extent from FModeTool. This will make it easier to create additional tools in the future.
